I am a master’s student at the University of Georgia in the department of Philosophy with an emphasis on labor, AI, and legal systems. I am looking to start law school after graduation. I am especially passionate about how we can infuse an ethic of care and compassion into the work that we do and the systems we create. I joined the team at the end of the Summer of 2025, meeting Cap as a patron at a downtown Athens restaurant I work at. I expressed to him my interest in the legal realm in conversation and he encouraged me to apply for a position here at the firm as an intern. Since starting here, I have come to see first-hand the extent to which the team truly integrates a great level of care into everything that we do. From the drafting of legal documents to trial preparation, to simply remembering clients’ birthdays and sending a card. The continuity of care does not stop once a case is settled, as Josh and the team continues to invest in past clients by checking in and re-engaging should they need additional representation. I feel truly honored and grateful to begin my exposure to the legal realm at The Law Office of Joshua Branch, learning the ends and outs of the field under the guidance of Josh and Cap and the legal assistants alike, all happy to share their legal knowledge and discuss the particularities of a case with the guiding principle of how we can best support every person that walks through our doors.
In my free time, I like to write, listen to music, and go on walks with my dog, Mr. Bubbles.
