I was driving home from dinner when I was hit by a truck and suffered from a traumatic brain injury and nerve damage in my face. I spent 6 months to a year working with my primary care physician as well as a neurologist to find treatment that would alleviate my symptoms to at least make it back to a place where I was thriving in my life as opposed to surviving.
